
Warren Davidson was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 to represent the 8th Congressional District of Ohio. Before being elected to Congress, Rep. Davidson enlisted in the United States Army. After witnessing the fall of the Berlin Wall while stationed in Germany, Rep. Davidson studied at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Rep. Davidson also owned and operated a high-volume manufacturing company after separating honorably from the Army in 2000.
Why He’s Important to Agents:
Rep. Davidson is a member of the House Financial Services Committee and serves as the Chairman of its Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance. In this position, Rep. Davidson leads a subcommittee with jurisdiction over important issues for PIA independent agents, including the reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), the creation of a cannabis safe harbor for independent agents, and the elimination of the Federal Insurance Office (FIO).
